We have resolved the issue and are no longer seeing elevated bounces relaying mail to AOL profiles. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and add additional measures to prevent this from happening in the future.

We have identified the root cause of the issue. We do not expect to see elevated bounces relaying mail to AOL profiles. We are working on a number of ways to alert instances like this in the future so they are resolved more quickly. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to keep this as our top priority.
